21. Radio wireless alarm systems....
Wireless alarm equipments are unreliable due to they're weak point,
the radio wireless data communication between sensor and receiver.
Radio waves have well known inconveniences and Radio Frequency
Interferences (RFI) is one out of them.
- The problem with RFI is that it can't be avoided and is easily
generated on purpose.
(See my post 16 Test your wireless alarm...)
- It muzzles the receiver and block al sensor communication.
- RFI due to hiss erratic nature can't be detected, at reasonable time
span nor as an intruder on purpose generated muzzling signal.
All attempts to detect unidentified RFI in a short time span
generate multiple false alarms due to "non on purpose" RFI who
is allways present and generated by the system sensors themself
and due to the other users of the alarm shared frequency!
BUT pro's know better and will sell you one; profit goes before your
safety.
I ask them 2 simple questions to those famous pro's:
1. How do you explain that wireless is reliable knowing that
the radio wave can be detected from the outside and muzzled with
a simple low power trancmitter?
From what exact type of equipment are you talking about if you
pretend that it is reliable.
2. Where do you get the essential wireless radio connection
receiver - transmitters charracteristics from?
