Hmmm, that's where you seem to get rather obtuse.

Here, in this "alarm ng",(as you describe this ethereal place) there is
one who uses you, your experience, your freely given information and
everyone elses, as a means to profit. One who does it with intentional
malace and forethought. One who exercises his intentionally rude manner
with those who openly object to his flagrant abuse of the ground rules,
of no advertising in this group. One who knows that it is because of
his constant and intentional abuse of others, his lies, his thievery of
information, his falsifying his identity to impugn and denigrate
others, that this group is in constant turmoil. .... but does it
anyway. One who demeans the alarm installation trade by calling
installers stupid, idiots, monkeys ..... who points out the few bad
things about the industry and implies that it is rampant ......... all
to simply further his personal agenda.... to sell product. Yet
ironically relates himself to the installation trade by telling lies by
insinuation that he is still in the installation trade. This, while
communicating with end users making inquiry here, simply to gain their
confidence, by implying that he is still up to date with the latest
technology. And add to all of this, the fact that he has been forced
from other Usenet groups for doing the same exact thing in other groups
as he does here, and the self confessed and admission that he has
obviously not ever been in control of his personal affairs during much
of his life.

.=2E............ and you state that the bickering here is not relevant to
the theme of this Newsgroups intention?

If you think that all of this is unrelated to the intention of this NG,
I'd venture to say, you don't have a clue.

Can you appreciate the present condition of this group, when he isn't
here to intentionally stir the pot? Have you noticed that people can
have disagreements and move on, without insults and name calling?

Can you actually state that, what he, and ONLY he, does here, which
incites the "bickering" .........that he doesn't do it to intentionally
disrupt this group, isn't relevent to the intention of this group?

Can you say, that if he would stop his intentional disruption of this
group and infringement of the base ground rules ...... (and never mind
the rules of the NG, how about just the rules of common courtesy and
getting along with others and not being rude and abusive?) that there
would be any of your so described " bickering " ?

It is no mere coincidence that the "bickering" disappears when he's
gone. That it exists only when he's here and that this is a his pattern
duing his presence in other newsgroups.

Take note. I'll be gone for about two weeks. Let's see what happens.
Maybe you'll get a clue about the source and reasons this group is in
constant strife. I don't expect you to take a side, but if you *really*
don't know why this group is the way it is ........... there's nothing
else I can say. By the way, I do believe that if everyone would
actually "take a side" that it would cure the problem altogether. Not
necessarily to oust him, but just to put him in his place when he
offended the theme of the NG. It worked in the aviation group that he
was "thrown out of" All it would take is for everyone to individually
respond when he became his obnoxious self. Unfortunately, in spite of
the fact that I know that most of the participants agree with my
assesment ....... the majority seem to be apathetic. Much in tune with
the weak charater, morals, standards, ethics and lethargic attitude
that generally seems to prevail now days. To many generations of TV
watchers, Id guess. A world of the acceptance of the least common
denominator ...... mentality.=20

Aloha!
