Add wired ouput to Skylink Security System

I am thinking of getting a Skylink system but I want to be able to add
my own external siren and bell. Is there a way to open up the case and
tap into the wires that run the internal alarm, or to do something
similar with the Skylink wireless remote alarm? I don't need much power
from the Skylink output because the wires from the Skylink would merely
trip a relay that would connect my siren to external 12v batteries that
would drive it. I did something similar to an old wireless system and
it worked great for 20 years until the console died.
