The Counterforce concept was a good one when it first started.  At that time
you received half of the annual monitoring revenue in cash and the other in
shares.  The guys that got in on the early days are actually the winners.
As for "long distance" monitoring...  ADT's been doing it for years (their
new CS is now in Cornwall Ontario) with a "satellite" in Calgary.  Whenever
you call there however, you always wind up speaking with someone with a
French accent which on the surface may strike you as a bit "weird" but if
you consider they have a large clientelle in Quebec...  well...  you get the
picture...  :-))
