I'll bet you bought it on-line and they failed to tell you that Alarmnet is
who monitors these or you failed to tell them what your intent was. Either
way, when one tries things on their own, they will have some pit falls to
watch for. Alarmnet re-transmits the signal to a central station. I don't
believe they deal with the end user directly.

Throw another penny into the wishing well and wish that the person that sold
you the unit has some answers.

Yes you will and it will be expensive for a one time shot. You will need to
buy a programmer from the person you bought the unit from. It is a 7720P.
They didn't inform you that your unit needs to be programmed? I wouldn't do
anything until you work out the monitoring arrangement. Even if you bought
the programmer, I don't think you can work with Alarmnet directly.
