DSC Maxsys PC 4020 Reporting probs.

At my job, I work mostly with ademco panels. But on a recent remodeling job,
our wonderful project management team decided to install one of these DSC
panels (Not knocking them, it seems like a nice panel its just that I'm
barely at all familiar with these). Well it just so happens that I'm the
only tech that works with the alarm panels and they decide to throw me to
the wolves on this one too. Anyway, sorry for blabbing.. The problem I am
having is the DSC panel is not reporting to either of our CS-1 (Ademco
685's). It dials, attempts to communicate but the receiver just drops the
call and gives one of its 11 RCVB 5555 5555 etc errors tryin to tell me it
didn't understand the call. Now heres what I've done:
1. I've replaced the board, left all zone devices off
2. I've tested & changed the phone line to another # and cable
3. I've deleted all programming and left only phone #1 active
4. I've changed power supplies
5. I've dabbled in programming changing subtle settings.
None of these work.

my dept. (well, me) maintains two 685 receivers. security monitors one and
the sheriff dept the other. I've changed phone no. 1 to to dial one receiver
to the other and it still does it. I've also verified that both the
receivers and the panel are set to Contact ID reporting. I now have no idea
what else to to. I would like to resolve this as my boss is planning on
changing out the panel to an ademco panel if its not resolved and with 97
zones, I think it would be a huge waste of time and taxpayer's $ to do this
when I'm sure its prolly something right under my nose thats causing it. if
anyone can shed some light onto this subject it would be greatly
appreciated.
Oh and just to be a lil more specific, there are a total of 33 alarm panels
(all ademco other than the DSC) that report to the receivers and the DSC is
the only one not coming thru. It was working fine and then all of the sudden
it stopped.
Thanks for your time and efforts.
