An LCD will never be as good quality as a CCTV Tube Monitor. The only type of LCD that will give you reasonable quality, will be a CCTV designed LCD which normally start around $700 for a 15". Look for one from a CCTV Manufacturer, such as Kalatel, AD, Bosch, Ultrack, etc.
