No it was getting late...was hoping this could be possible

Got up this morning and the mvp player as the contacting server screen up
,i still have the mvp in my web browser and got it to load up some songs
but the contacting server screen is still there????

Have you tried going into remote control on your mvp? You can take remote
control of the exstreamer here, and then the mvp becomes a front end to the
exstreamer. To get out of remote mode, go back into remote control and
you'll have a release option (then the mvp will be back at the list of
units
it can control and you can press menu to get back to the front screen)
