If you mean the official mvp logo moving around the screen, yes it's a
screen saver built-in to firmware

i.e. it shouldn't be rebooting...

I want to get synch between "like" units working where possible,
doubt it
will possible to synch across unit types though, due to drift caused by
slightly varying playing rates. Though it should be possible to build-in a
cross synch "start now" function for most units, but I suspect it
will drift
badly over time
