RE: xPLMediaNet Bug Fix Released
Works nicely! :)
I'm testing this today in the office - single copy of winamp on our
media server, playing throughout the house, with web control from the
client PCs - nice :)
Got a suggestion for another feature already: how about an encoder app
that can make the line-in available as a source?
Ian.

Subject: [ukha_xpl] xPLMediaNet Bug Fix Released
Hi all,
Latest update package is at:
http://www.xplhal.com/xplmedianet/UPDATE_200509081700.zip
This fixes the web interface problem (have tested with a Rio and Winamp)
As per the previous one this still contains the keymap.xml files and
index.htm (so please back yours up if you amended them)
It also has a few enhancements I mentioned in a previous post
To enable graphics for shoutcast streams add a line to the
sources\shoutcast\loader.xml
<settings menugui="n" menuext="jpg"
itemgui="n" itemext="jpg" />
Where menuext= and itemext= is the file type
Set menugui="y" if you want to have an image for each stream
file, and
place the image in the same folder (e.g. if you have streams.xml and
streams2.xml use images called streams.jpg and streams2.jpg, in this
example)
Set itemgui="y" if you want to have an image for each item in a
stream
file, and place the images in a sub-folder (named after the stream file)
(e.g.
sources\shoutcast\streams\radio 1.jpg)
This graphical menu function is also allowed in playlists and queries
(see website for details for these) and the jukebox is bought into line
(means you can have images to represent artist/album/genre sorting and
also turn off the graphics and use jukebox in text only mode)
Regards
Tony
