Could you not use some scripting in xPLHal to get around this?

E.g. temp message is broadcast in =B0C.
xPLHal picks this up, recalculates in =B0F and retransmits.

Provided that you only listen to the temp messages coming from xPLHal, and

ignore the original ones coming from the TOM10, then you should always get
=
temp messages in =B0F.

Just a thought.
