Hi,

Is it compulsory to have a hub? On Linux, you can bind more
than one program to the same listen socket by using the SO_REUSEADDR
socket option. I've placed my simple test files at:

http://www.temporalanomaly.com/temp/

(I'll leave them up for a week or two.)

Strikes me that this is rather simpler than having a hub and isn't
simplicity something this group strives for? Of course, this is
rather platform specific, but we make exceptions for embedded devices
so why not these ones?

Regards,
Mark.

P.S. Yes, this does mean I have permission from my employer to release
code now. ;-)
