Oops forgot to post a message.....

thanks for the reply i have been testing the app remotely on my laptop
so no it would be binding to a different ip.

I probably incorrectly assumed that because i had the manager app
running remotely on my laptop and that was seeing relayed messages that
my app would do the same.

I thought it would just relay the packets to the ip and port i'de
specified in the heartbeat.

It was a late night.
