asterisk and xpl

Hello
I've just installed the xPL function for asterisk,
but I don't receive any CallerID messages, only the heartbeat.
I suspect I need to put the xplring.agi into extensions.conf,
and I've tried and failed.
Could someone tell me what to do to get asterisk work with xPL?
I have asterisk@home 0.9, and xPLHal service for WindowsXP.
