xplrionet service takes a long time to load

How long should it take for xplrionet.exe to load as a service. I
downloaded and installed xplhal and then after that I have noticed
that xplrionet.exe seems to hang. Task manager shows that
xplrionet.exe is running and taking a huge amount of cpu processes, is
it scanning my mp3's when it starts? is this normal its been over
fifteen minutes already. I have roughly 20 gb of mp3s to scan.
