xplmedianet development

Hi all,

Am amending the way clients respond to IR controls.

Previously each client was hardcoded with it's IR value for each function.

Xplmedianet will use text values (e.g. play, stop)

This gives the following advantages:

A) clients will load a keymap at startup, which means any function can be
mapped to any key

B) xpl control is simpler, as these text values will match (where
applicable) the xpl commands

C) It gives the ability for, say, an mvp to control an exstreamer as the
commands have the same value in all clients

Involves a fair bit of extra coding, but should be worth it in the long
term

The only fly in the ointment is the rio, which also has front panel
controls
which use different values. In this instance I've decided that the rio
client code will remap the front panel controls to the same values as the
remote buttons for simplicity.

Regards
Tony
