One thing is for sure - we *desperately* need someone to be building a more
useful website.

I'm embarrassed by the current one, but I simply do not have the time to do
anything about it.

I even have a handy bit of code contributed to handle vendor IDs etc, and
have yet to be able to install/set it up.

Here's a request - if anyone has a couple of spare hours to set up a better
website, I'll do everything I can to help, provide access to the site,
whatever.

Pretty please? :)

The biggest example by far is www.wikipedia.org - an online encyclopedia
built by its users.

Making Wiki pages can be a bit of a pain - the embedded formatting commands
are arcane in the extreme - but it does seem to be the best available way
to
enable a group of people to build and refine a set of documents
