Re: Netiom(xPLDMX)

Yep,
It's still there. I kind of got distracted with xPLDMX which I hope=20
to release the beta of very soon. This supports the Enttec USB=20
interface (or equivalent) that uses the FTDI chip. I used a standard=20
serial USB converter (=A319) and piggybacked a 75176.=20

In theory it should support 4 of the devices with threading but I'd=20
like to test this area before saying it will - in particular I'm not=20
sure how it will handle those who want a mix of FTDI based USB/COMx=20
ports and USB/DMX. On start up you can reconf each of the device=20
serial numbers to a friendly name for that DMX universe. A future=20
release may cater for on the fly plug-in of new devices but for now=20
you have to start and stop the service. It is, of course, VB.NET

I'm using it for test with the 12 channel DPX12/4 dimmer.

Next project is either the NETIOM or an interface into the Mitsubishi=20
MELSEC PLC's, the latter is due to be the standlalone heating=20
controller.
