I know it's not perfect, but I'd still say yes.

Most people keep whole albums (although I do know some who only keep their
favourite tracks).  It might be a bit odd for only half an albums's tracks
to show up.  Similarly for albums by an artist - if you didn't show them
all, it may result in the user wondering where they've gone.

The number of cases where albums or tracks are of genuinely different
genres
would probably be very small, and there would also be potential for genre
errors to cause things to not show up, if genre filtering was applied all
the way down to track level.
