Yeah, why not.  CD writing should be a breeze in XP, but there's no DVD
support and nothing built in to previous operating systems, so it should be
an "interesting" challenge ;-)

At the same time though, we should probably consider a general
file-handling
system for xPL - we already have a few cases where files need to be copied
around (web cam images, for example).  A general purpose (i.e. not
dependant
on running xplRioNet) approach might be quite useful.
