Yep - your code is right Mal - as long as any incoming hbeat.basic
messages are passed on to all clients registered with the hub, that's
fine.

A PC app running on the same PC as a hub shouldn't be generating
hbeat.basic messages - only hbeat.app

One thing I guess we have to look out for is ensuring that people who
produce apps make sure that they correctly produce the right type of
heartbeat messages!

As I understand it this is correct, i.e. you don't have to modify your
code.
How would you know which port the "hbeat.basic-client" is
listening to ?
You couldn't possible add it to the client list.
