I'm pretty sure you'll be able to wire the PIRs directly to the VIOM.
I've never actually used a VIOM, but I'm sure someone on here will be able
to provide a suitable wiring diagram for you.

You'll also need a 12V power supply for supplying the VIOM and the PIRs.

You basically install some Windows software that makes the MSS100 appear as
an extra COM port within windows.
Just point the xPL VIOM app at the virtual COM port, and you're up and
running.
