Re: WMP 10

What sort of streaming protocol are you using? (http, RSP, etc)?

I've had horrible problems with streaming any media over HTTP to WMP. Give
it a URL and watch it download the entire media file before it starts
playing it. In my case, for my project (www.dvarchive.org), it's video, so
it'll download a multi-GB file before it starts playback.

Some older versions of WMP used to do this properly, but newer ones either
have lousy support for streaming over HTTP or there is a secret(ish) HTTP
header they need to see before they'll stream.
