Hmm, just been thru the logfile you sent me with a fine tooth comb again
and
I've been barking up the wrong tree...

I couldn't see the wood for the trees as they say

What actually appears to be happening is that the xpl command the web
server
sends is being received twice

I notice you have given the rio a name of "dining room rio" this
is NOT a
valid xpl device name.

The xpl device name can be a-z and 0-9 only, no spaces allowed and 16 chars
max (although the above looks like 15 chars it is actually
Dining%20Room%20Rio when processed by the web page, and obviously contains
spaces).

I'm assuming this has been manually entered?

I can't be 100% certain this is the cause, but as the problem appears to be
that the xpl message is being processed twice then a device name like this
could well be causing the problem

Can you rename the device to diningroom and see if this makes any
difference
please?

Rob can you confirm what device names you are using please?

If changing the device name doesn't help, then I'll need to add some new
logging to try and assess where the duplication is occurring

Many thanks
Tony
