I fully agree.  This is exactly my point: you don't want your finger
to start thinking for itself :-)

Anyway, with the confirm message issues out of the way, I can easily
adapt the app to become fully x10.basic compliant.

I suppose then that it will also be easier for HAL script integration
that the xplcm11 component sends a confirm message per device even
when it was possible to join them as 1 X10 command ?  I.e.:
command=ON
device=A1,A2
->
send 2 confirm messages, hence
sub X10_A1_ON_Trigger(xplmsg)
sub X10_A2_ON_Trigger(xplmsg)
will be called in turn.
