Howdy All,

DCM V1.1c has been released. DCM is short for Device Configuration Manager
and it allows you to configure and control xPL devices on your network.
Many
xPL devices can be configured in various ways. They may let you change
when
they do something, a serial port they use, log file they use, passwords,
etc.
DCM lets you view each devices current configuration and change them. DCM
will automatically "discover" all the xPL devices on your network
and list
them, grouped together by the devices vendor. For devices where the vendor
has provided an xPL plugin, it will also allow you to command those devices
from a menu of possible commands.

DCM also has a detailed xPL logging facility to allows you to capture xPL
traffic on your network, view it and filter it for specific messages.

DCM V1.1c has the following changes since the previous version:

* Added ability for the log to filter on specific parts of the received
message (source, target and schema). Each one allows a partial string to
be
typed which will match any log entry that has an item that starts with the
text.

* The log will now automatically scrolls to keep the newest log entries
visible

* Hovering the mouse over a log entry will display a popup with the details
of
the message formatted with each name/value pair on it's own line to
facilitate easier reading of complex messages.

DCM runs under Java and so can run under Windows, Linux, Mac OSX, Solaris,
etc. You can download DCM at http://www.xPL4Java.org/xPL4Java
