Yep, they are stored in the "All Users" Application Data folder.

By default, that's:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\xPL\Plugins

Gerry Duprey has produced an editor for these files called XPE - well cool
:)

are these xml files stored anywhere? I've been looking through xPL related
directories and cant find any such files (can find config files but not a
list of  triggers/vars)
