xpl media player

Hello,
I have been reading the various xpl Project files and everything
looks really good.  I would like to start playing with the software
and it seems that audio control may be the natural starting point for
somebody who hasn't purchased any appliances for this hobby yet.
I see an audio.basic scema and audio.winamp, and several others.
There's nothing like doing, so ... Should I be starting with WinAmp to
get my feet wet, or will MediaPlayer 10 work just as well?
