Just to clarify further.
When a device becomes a master all local control is lost until you exit the
slave menu (or reboot)
At any point in time you are controlling a single device, either your local
device or a single remote device (menu's only) but never both
Just think of it as an alternative to the web interface (up to a point)
You _cannot_ control volume, skip tracks or anything on a slave (unless the
key mappings for these devices are not in conflict with menu items, so in
the case of a rio with standard mappings you _can_ skip around, stop and
change the volume as these keys are not mapped to menu functions - you
can't
use play as this is mapped to queue in the menu)
If your rio is in the garage and speakers are in the lounge then what
device
in the lounge would you use to control it anyway?
Regards
Tony
