hi there,

i'll explain what kit i've got and how its setup,
(this is if i'm sat infront of the units)

i have two rio's, one of the units sits with "music server found,
please wait" and the other one will get to the menu and allow me to
browse around and select shoutcast stuff, but will not let me select
an mp3, you press the select button over any mp3, it appears to do
nothing, but if one presses the menu button it returns to the
playing screen - with a "00" and a line at the top (which above
it
would be the track details) however i can go back by pressing menu
and then listen to a shoutcast stream - some of them dont appear to
work either -but i assume thats because they're probably offline or
something at the moment.

the unit that displays "music server found - please wait" i left
it
at that state last night and looking this morning its still sat
there. so i stopped the xpl services and ran the original
riosoftware and both of them will play mp3's no worries.

both units are plugged into a netgear wireless hub/router which i'm
also having connectivity issues with - but im sure thats an issue
with the hub itself.

if i'm using the *working* unit and i'm using the web interface to
control whats playing it will display whats playing (a shoutcast
stream) but none of the functions work (power/ffwd)

on a complimentary note though, i'm very impressed with the pronto
utilities - very very good indeed, i'm thinking of designing some
buttons using liatro button maker to use ...

kind regards,

Jonathan.
