Re: Re: RS485 - XPL on the wire

Hi John

Ok......

Yes it appears my Hardware doesnt fit nicely into the existing control
/sensor schema....

So hopefully i can leave it as it is ...??

At the moment im using xpl Hvision to determine my zoning for cbus
lighting
control but doing it this way means xPL has to request xpl-hvision to run a
macro and then request the status of a variable ..and the time it takes to
do this and adjust the lighting can be almost instant to up to 3 or 4
seconds ;-(.....It really needs the zone info reported by xpl-hvision when
its reporting ir signals to xpl....Hopefully when Steve is back on board he
can look at it........

Bench testing xpl uirt and FirM Serial to control zoned lighting appears
to be processed much quicker and consistent....so might have to go down
this path if unable to resolve the delay problem
uing xpl-hvision.........

Frank
