Re: DMX - Circuit Cellar
The electronic version of November's issue is out at least (I don't know
which you get).
IIRC, the September usb/dmx interface relies on the PC to continuously send
DMX data with the right timing over USB. The one in the November issue has
the DMX side of things handled entirely by the microcontroller.
I wish Microchip would catch up with the competition - the nice thing about
them is the low cost and free development tools.
