Yes it does, and that would be perfect for the second pic 
;-)).....Remember
he doesnt have to parse any xPL messages...!!!..........

You could do that ,but my thoughts are based on which would be quicker if 
I
were developing.....

Two smal pics (16f84) are around $8 each which is the same  price as a
16f876.....only extra component would be a crystal and a couple of
caps.........
Just my thoughts on it
