It's also not cheap for the chips on their own.  A cheaper, but larger
solution is http://picnic.sf.net

Of course, if everything runs over Ethernet, cabling your house is less of
an issue, as gaps can be bridged with wireless.  Good for me - I can't
cable my front room :-/
