RE: xPLRioNet V3.8d Released

Good Evening Gent's,

I've recently downloaded this version of xplrionet and I'm having some
problems,

I used to use version 3.6b (I think..) however I had some problems with
my router and mp3 server, so I rebuilt the server and as it was easier
at the time I installed the original rio software, cool. No worries
there.

So.. I uninstalled the old riosoftware, rebooted the server and then
installed xplrionet - which seemed to install just fine, I set the ip
details and came downstairs. turbed off, then unplugged the rio. Waited
a few moments, plugged it back in and turned it back on. I get the
message "searching for music server" then "found music
server, please
wait" and there it has been sat for around 25mins.

Then I turned the unit off . stopped the xpl services, reinstalled the
rio software. Booted the mp3 player backup and all works fine again.

Anyone had this before ? am I doing something daft ?

The data light on my router is blinking away every-so-often so I'm
assuming the rio is still 'alive'

Over to you as I'm puzzled ! (and I want to settle down with a glass of
scotch before I go to bed !!)

Kind regards,

Jonathan.
