Hi,
Having recently acquired a Squeezebox I've been looking at
integrating it into the emerging HA system. Is anyone else using it
in earnest? The first thing I've added is a trigger to tell me when
it is on or off - the IR is fine but doesn't tell you when it is
woken up from an alarm. One comment on the proposed schema is that
triggers use audio.basic but can have extended commands - ISTR?

Secondly, it would be very useful to know when an alarm is set. As
an example, if the alarm is set for 0700 you might want a sequence
of events to start prior to this, such as getting room temperatures
up, putting the coffee on, etc. I'd assume a trigger message for
this and the appropriate schema is sensor.basic but the wording in
the schema could do with expanding/clarifying. e.g
sensor.basic
{
type = scheduled
current = ENABLE
data1 = yymmddhhmmss (or datetime = yymmddhhmmss?)
}
It should also respond to control.basic setting of the alarm. Next
on the list is a simple plug in that gives some on/off sensor.basic
triggers, possibly configurable control messages.

PS VIOM looks interesting but the Netiom even more so.
