Haven't run it myself yet but taking a quick look,

Have you made the mods to the script as per the header text?

Then you have to run getweather which doesn't create a message, but loads
into xplhal globals (weather_ etc)

Then you have to run speakweather giving it a parameter of the device name
of your tts app (e.g. tonyt-tts.hapc)

Hopefully when Ian J or John B are around they can advise more.
