Heartbeat Interval Format

Hi All
Before i start on xplling my Probe Hub i need to implement
programmable heatbeat interval on my pic tvosd. At the moment its fixed to
4
minutes.....Is it ok to force the user to use a 2 digit format....ie if six
minutes required then 06 must be entered when configuring ???...
