Yes, it's a global - it tracks the light level of my hall light.

Yes, case 0 means that C-Bus group address 0 is the hall light, case 1 is
the front bedroom left-hand table lamp, etc.
Basically, the cases are just mapping the numerical C-Bus group addresses
into friendly device names.

If you've used the C-Bus Installation software, you may not even be aware
of what group addresses are being used by your loads, as the software masks
them quite well with the friendly descriptions that you assign.
As yet, there's no way to import those friendly descriptions from the C-Bus
software into xPLHal.
