zonealarm w/ xpl

earlier i was having problems w/ xplrionet & it turned out to be the
free zonealarm firewall i had on the machine

zonealarm was configured to approve of all my xpl aps yet i still had
problems & had to turn it off.  has anybody ever run into this
problem?   can anybody else check if there is some problem w/ xpl &
zonealarm?
