xPLHal 1.41 Released

Hi all,

xPLHal v1.41 is now available for download from <a href="http://www.xplhal.com.";>http://www.xplhal.com.</a>

This release expands the Determinator functionality, adding new conditions
and
actions:

You can now restrict when a Determinator will run based on the day of the
week,
or a particular time of day, or on the status of an X10 module.
You can also suspend execution of a determinator part way through, either
for a
specified number of minutes or until a specific time.

This means that if you want to have a light come on at between 18:00 and
18:30,
then turn off at between 21:00 and 21:30, you can do it all with a single
Determinator, rather than having to set up two distinct events.

You would set up an event to occur between 18:00 and 18:30 that would fire
a
determinator with something like:
- Switch on the light
- Suspend execution until 21:00 (with a randomisation of 30 minutes)
- Turn off the light

Makes it a lot easier to understand your control logic when you have a
complex
setup, and reduces the number of events in the list.

Suspended determinators will continue to run even after a power
failure/restart
of xPLHal.
This is in contrast to the "Pause" action, which is only intended
to halt
execution of the determinator for upto 60 seconds.

Regards,

John
