RE: Caller ID

I got mine from crucible (kind of on a whim 'cos I couldn't get anything
else working).

Didn't get the software...

Now using xPL (meteor and xQL), Meteor logs all incoming and outgoing calls
to an access db and sends an email with the incoming calls, I've then
created queries in the database so that, using asp, I can display the
following:

All Calls
All Incoming Calls
All Outgoing Calls
All Today's Calls
Today's Incoming Calls
Today's Outgoing Calls

And I will be creating a couple more for calls on a selected day...

Very pleased with it all.

Regards
Neil

I got mine from:
<a href="http://www.crucible-technologies.co.uk/caller-display.asp";>http://www.crucible-technologies.co.uk/caller-display.asp</a>

But it's cheaper here:
<a href="http://www.pathwaydata.co.uk/CallerIDProducts.asp";>http://www.pathwaydata.co.uk/CallerIDProducts.asp</a>

No, you don't need any software like ActiveCID for the xPL Meteor plugins
to
work - just the hardware.

If you're running Windows 2000 or later, I have a Meteor app that runs as a
service:
<a href="http://www.xpl.myby.co.uk/info/xplmeteor/";>http://www.xpl.myby.co.uk/info/xplmeteor/</a>

If you're running Windows 98/Me, Tony has a VB6 version at www.xplhal.com.

John
