There are some dependencies..

xPL relies on a "hub" a switchboard for all of the xPL apps on a
machine: it listens on the correct IANA assigned port, and redelivers
apps to all of the xpl apps.

If you have a copy of windows with the .Net framework installed, this is
the best hub to use:

if not, (and you don't want to install .net) use the one from here
instead:

<a href="http://www.xplhal.com";>http://www.xplhal.com</a>

(it's under xpl > VB6 Apps )

This hub needs to be running in order to use the other app. You will
also need the xplhal app installed somewhere on your network (a 24-7
server is best, but not needed of course) - if it's on a machine, it has
a hub built in, so there isn't one needed.

It's best to do it with stages, don't worry: we'll get you working :)

hi,

trying to get this running but i get an error:

Runtime error 429
ActiveX component cannot be created.

i just ran it from the command line. do i need to give it any
options? thanks.
