Hi All
Today i removed my PIC ICD and programmed a pic as i needed to use
my serial port..anyway on power up of course the pic was programmed to
AEC-TVOSD.DEFAULT and started sendin config heart beats.....So i opened
waiting to config and sure enough it was there..Clicked on it and when it
opened the config items it didnt have DEFAULT it had the previous instance
TVOSD4 ??? so i typed in tvosd1 and hit ok....Message came up on my tv
config.request.....No config .response...the pic kept sending config heart
beats...Assumed it must be the pic and reprogrammed it again...still the
same problem...decided to manually send a config.response....and it worked
..got a config.response message on my tv and all was ok....
Checked out the log...and noticed that xplhal had sent out a
config.response
BUT..........
Where NEWCONF= XXXXXXXXXX...........it has the old config name=
xxxxxx......Have i got this all wrong ???? Should it have the old config
name=newconfig name...????

Frank
