Hi Frank,

Best thing to do is look in the Event Log and see why the service is
failing to
start.
Go into Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer.
Click on the Application Log, and look for any items that relate to xPLHal.
If you double-click on an item in the list, you can see the details of the
event.
If you find any errors relating to xPLHal, paste the full description of
the
event here and we can see what's going wrong.
