I have no experience of xAPLogger but believe it is similar to the xPL-VR
where all the messages get logged to a database.  Although I expect that as
the logger is used with the intranet page it may be more sophisticated in
term of data design and processing.

The area of functionality I think that is currently missing from this is to
be able to record all events over a particular period, then filter them
based on schema, then resend them back to the network to give a lived in
look.

e.g. I want x10.basic xpl-trig and control.basic xpl-cmnd messages but are
not worried about sensor.basic device=temp messages.  Each trigger or cmnd
message is then sent back on to the network as a xpl-cmnd network so the
computer now provides the stimulus to the network and not the human.

Obviously some fail safes would need to be built into the system like don't
ever switch on X10 D5 as it's the kettle / heater.

How workable is it to do such a thing?
