Re: Re: HV Macro runs multiple times

Hi George

Its a little bit tricky at the start but once you get the feel of it the
xPL
stuff is really cool....and if you do get stuck the guys are very
helpful......

I recently purchased a TOM10 Board from Justin ......

http://www.gadgetjunkie.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=17

and a plugin was written by Steve even before i recieved my board...and now
have my bedroom fans being turned ON / OFF automatically depending on temp
sensor reading for each room....The bedroom fans are controlled by CBUS and
this gets its xPL info from John,s xPL-Cgate....Also have got the TOM10
connected to my pc network using a mss100 unit....;-))

> program into xPl and how much to leave at the HV level.

The tricky stuff i would leave to Homevision.....
I tried to control my CBUS lighting using a cheap 6 button remote using xPL
and plugins and my zoned hardware , etc....and even though it worked well ,
i found it a bit sluggish due to all the messages generated....
Using only Homevision the CBUS response is almost instant..

Frank
