Straight Through db25 TO db9 is
DB25 DB9
2 3 Tx
3 2 Rx
7 5 GND
If you want flow control you also need
DB25 DB9
4 7 Rts
5 8 Cts
6 6 Dsr
20 4 Dtr
22 9 Ring (Modem)
