RE: How can I display the weather data

Hi John
I've tried Tony's app for the WM918 and that works fine it's a pity I
can't make it co-exist with the windows app I have running ? Don't know
if there is a way to 'share' the com port.
The windows app also produces a web page for showing the weather data
etc and I might have difficulty replicating that functionality.
I've been meaning to get a book on VB6 for some time now, I guess that
is bit more urgent now.
Cheers

AFAIK Tony has an app that reports WM918 data directly as xPL messages,
but if you want to stick with your current software then I guess that
rules this one out.

OK, I can see two ways of achieving this:
- You could use Steve's HV app to read the values back from HV into
xPLHal (Steve - is this possible?)
- You could use a bit of VBScript to read the file directly into xPLHal
globals, and have them displayed on the Slims at regular intervals.
I'll await Steve's comments on the first idea, but if that's not
possible then I'll see about putting together a bit of VBScript to read
the file in for you.
Regards,
John
