How can I display the weather data

Hi all, more questions from me.

I have a WM918 weather station hooked up to my PC using a program called
FreeWX to dump the data into HV. This works well and I dont want to
change it.
The program dumps a file on the PC freedata.txt containing all the
weather values which is read by HV. Can someone point me in the right
direction as to how this can be done within HAL. Each value is the text
file is separated by a comma but it also does a CSV version.
I want to set each value into the Global variables and then display this
on the Slimp player say every hour.
